six a.m.

I was supposed to drive my mother to work so that I can use her car today. She has to be at work at eight, and my father woke me up at six. She works twenty minutes away....

Merry Christmas
We are playing games around the dining room table. Peter wants to play cards for dollars but was shot down. My little cousins are very tall. Santa brought me the kind of cheese grater they have at the Olive Garden. In other news, my grandma just declared Malort the worst thing she ever tasted.

This morning I woke up after three hours of sleep and watched a pair of foxes in the back yard. They were very large, for foxes, and moved through the underbrush slowly. The picture I want to post right now in the spirit of GPOYW is one taken Monday morning of my grandma and I wearing fake poinsettia wreathes on our heads. The reason that I am not posting this picture is that my grandma is wise and yelled “don’t you dare put that on the internet!” seconds after the picture was snapped. I want to tell you about everything: dragging my...
